Our clan was originally founded by our leader, Albert Wesker |UC|™, on the GTA SA-MP Los Santos Apocalypse (LSA) server.

Since the original Steam group was abandoned and the leadership is no longer active, I have created this new group to keep the nostalgia alive. My hope is that all the OG |UC|™ members who are still active on Steam can rejoin us here to reminisce and reconnect.

With the approval of our previous leadership, we are officially opening recruitment for new members. If you are interested in joining our ranks, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

Alias:
You must use an official character name from the Survival Horror genre (e.g., Ada Wong, Leon Kennedy).

Privacy Settings:
Your Steam profile must be set to Public for verification purposes.

Gaming History:
You must be an active player of survival horror titles.

Terms of Membership, Clan Tag:
The official clan tag must be worn at all times upon acceptance.

Compliance:
If the tag is removed, you will receive a 24-hour notice to reinstate it. Failure to do so will result in removal from the clan.

Once your profile meets the requirements, submit a join request. I will review your Steam profile shortly thereafter.

UMBRELLA CORPORATION

The Umbrella Corporation is the central antagonist of the Resident Evil franchise—a multi-billion dollar British pharmaceutical conglomerate that served as a front for the development of illegal biological weapons (B.O.W.s).

1. The Foundation: Sovereignty through Science
Umbrella was founded in 1968 by three aristocrats: Oswell E. Spencer, James Marcus, and Edward Ashford.

While they marketed themselves with the slogan "Our Business is Life Itself," their true goal was much darker. They sought the Progenitor Virus, an ancient strain found in a rare flower in Africa, which Spencer believed could be used to force human evolution and create a new race of "Wesker children" to rule over.

2. The Viral Trinity
Umbrella’s research led to several catastrophic viral strains:

T-Virus (Tyrant Virus): The most famous strain, designed to create super-soldiers (Tyrants). It unfortunately had the side effect of turning most humans into mindless zombies.

G-Virus (Gene Virus): Discovered by William Birkin, this virus caused rapid, uncontrollable cellular mutation and physical evolution.

T-Veronica: Developed by Alexia Ashford, this strain focused on retaining the host's intelligence through a long-term cryogenic incubation process.

3. The Arklay & Raccoon City Incidents
The corporation's downfall began in 1998 due to internal sabotage and mismanagement:

The Spencer Mansion: A leak at the Arklay Research Facility led to the events of the first game, exposing the S.T.A.R.S. team to Umbrella's horrors.

The Destruction of Raccoon City: After a massive leak in their underground "Hive" laboratory (NEST), the U.S. government was forced to sanitize the city with a thermobaric missile to contain the outbreak.

Review: Resident Evil Requiem – A Masterclass in Survival Horror

(Warning: Contains Spoilers)

Resident Evil Requiem has officially claimed the top spot as my favorite entry in the franchise (my apologies to Outbreak!). This title is an absolute blast, delivering a perfect blend of gripping narrative, polished gameplay, and stunning animation.

Atmosphere and Gameplay

The game successfully returns to its roots, leaning heavily into the survival horror genre. However, it raises the stakes significantly; the atmosphere is far more oppressive and terrifying than its predecessors. Walking through the environments feels genuinely tense, striking a balance between nostalgia and modern horror.

Characters: Familiar Faces and New Blood

It is a thrill to see veterans Leon S. Kennedy and Sherry Birkin return to the front lines. They are joined by a compelling newcomer, Grace Ashcroft, the daughter of Resident Evil Outbreak’s Alyssa Ashcroft. While it is heartbreaking to learn that Alyssa has passed away (Rest in Peace), Grace is a fantastic addition to the lore.

A Return to the Source

Returning to Raccoon City—where the nightmare began—is a brilliant move. The developers didn't stop at locations; they reintroduced iconic enemies and characters, including the relentless Mr. X and my personal favorite, HUNK.

Room for Improvement

If there is one letdown, it is the absence of Ada Wong. It feels unlikely that she would sit idly by while Leon is in such peril, so I suspect she is off-screen conducting her own clandestine research. I am holding out hope that we eventually see a DLC featuring a collaboration between Hunk and Ada.

Final Verdict: 10/10
This game is a love letter to the series. Whether you are a long-time veteran or a newcomer, Resident Evil Requiem is a must-play experience that every fan will adore.

Review: Resident Evil 4 Remake – A Masterclass in Action-Horror
Resident Evil 4 (2023) is, in my estimation, the gold standard for the franchise’s "REmake" era. While reimagining a title as legendary as the original RE4 is a daunting task, Capcom has succeeded in delivering an experience that honors its roots while feeling distinctively modern.

Gameplay & Experience
Every minute spent in this reimagined rural Spain felt intentional and exhilarating. The game strikes a perfect balance between nostalgic beats and fresh innovations. On a standard first playthrough, the campaign clocked in at a tight, engaging 13 hours—a testament to its excellent pacing. The wealth of content, including New Game+, The Mercenaries, and the "Separate Ways" DLC, ensures significant replay value that few modern titles match.

The "Ada Wong" Factor
The characterization of Ada Wong in this entry is a highlight. Her combat prowess and mobility are more pronounced than ever—at times channeling a "superhero" level of agility that makes her segments incredibly fun to watch and play.

However, the performance direction for her character is the one area that feels underwhelming. While not entirely "bad," the vocal delivery feels noticeably flat when compared to the depth and charisma found in her RE2 Remake, RE6, or original RE4 portrayals. It is a minor blemish on an otherwise stellar production.

Final Verdict
Capcom has managed to capture lightning in a bottle for a second time. Whether you are a veteran of the 2005 classic or a newcomer to Leon S. Kennedy’s journey, this is a definitive survival-horror experience.
