Maybe it will function in a year, maybe it will be good in 2 years. Maybe they won't just fix the warfare system, but rework it to actually make it fun in some ways. Maybe the game wont break down in the late game. Maybe the AI will be able to properly use the eco system, let alone all of the other systems. If this can happen, the game would differently be worth getting, but I would recommend staying away for now.
