Very good game. The tutorial face was scuffed but once you get into the chapters, the game is super good.

Have not played the story, but I can say that the online portion is not great. until this is fixed, I cannot recommend the game. Please make it so the online multiplayer battles are fixed as there are many issues, and please make it so campaign can be multiplayer. lots of potential but as aforementioned, cannot currently recommend.

When I first got this game, it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful. I am one of the many who pre-ordered this game, and when I played it, there were sooooooo many cheaters. I had dropped the game for over 1 year (almost two) and I am finally playing it again. After the game has released and updated over the course of almost two years, this game has amazing visuals and is very fun to play with friends on such a grand (and enormous) battlefield. The only that I hate about the game is the team killing and how it is unregulated. you also cannot kick the person who is mass team killing. lastly, I would change the auto balance. Nothing screams stupid and horrible game like doing a 3 vs 9 on any game mode. Overall, I give this game a:

- Controls: 10 /10 (not hard but simplistic)
- Gameplay: 10/10 (only online so...)

I absolutely love this game! what is there not to like about a free game? All you have to do, as a consumer, is download the game, run it, and play for FREE. the game is constantly updating, which means the developers truly care, and the game feels the same as the old game. People are constantly working together as a team, making this game that much more enjoyable. There are frequent events and missions on the daily, making the game revolutionary. Although my hour count may surprise you as a consumer since my hour count is low, it would come to you as a surprise since that is the total hour count it took me to complete the games main story mission and two DLC's which are free; in addition, I still am far from finishing! I do warn you though, buying DLC's in this game have proven to be fruitless since DLC's become free after an amount of time. Id advise any player to wait unless they want a head start to the mouth watering loot for a low cost of 20 ish (give or take) dollars. Although it is sad that many people have been scammed of there money, the game is still very enjoyable. If you think this game may still bore you, there are many clans who will keep you updated on upcoming raids, making the game much more engaging. You could also buy a season pass that will also make the game much more compelling to come back.

One con that I found to ruin my gaming experience

You cannot and will not be able to do any raids or certain missions at higher difficulties if you have no excess of friends or a 'clan'. clans are hard to come across because they evaluate the time you have committed to the game and your 'Kill death ration' otherwise known as a K/D. Since I did not want to spend my money on the season pass, this game became tasteless and somewhat a nuisance for me. If these facts do not bother you, than I keenly suggest you start up the game because you will not be disappointed.

Update since 2019: Holy cow has this game come a long way! When this game was first released, there were some issues with visuals and controls. The game never taught the player how to deploy and simply play which made 'getting into this game' extremely difficult. Now, in 2022, I swear on Gabe himself, a 12 year old wouldn't struggling in figuring out the key dynamics to this game. With the constant updating, content releasing, and love/support from the creators and team that makes Squad what it is, this has to be the most immersive, realistic, and fun mil-sim/shooter there is out there. The game has everything, and for what you get, it easily crushes its competitors realising there trash games at 100 dollars a pop (let alone unfinished games from big companies *cough* EA).

Side note: If you don't have this game, are you truly a PC gamer?
PS: All jokes aside, if there is anything you take from this, you, the person who is reading this, is greatly missing out if you do not already own this game.
