A perfect example of a game that shows that it can be grindy but fun at the same time.
I have supported Monster Hunter since Monster Hunter 1 and played all the games after it up until now and can for sure say the game itself is pretty well designed and got improved in a huge step.
The developers really have put alot of effort to the game and the new map designs.

If you are familiar with the basic games like Freedom Unite and several others you will quickly find out that many weapons got changed with there playstyle like the insect glaive and the long sword. Back then where the great sword was slow and just a beginning tool its now the most damaging weapon and super agile due to the aerial mechanics of the game!
I totally enjoy the fact that we can bring different mantles like vitality or fire resistance for a limited time.
It changes the way of playing the game actually and brings new fresh air.
(like the perma map overview which is on and you dont have to paintball the monsters anymore)

Iceborn DLC is a must have for endgame content and easily brings several thousand hours more to the counter of things to explore,farm,learn and upgrade.
Coop is way more stable and barely crashes. If it does you can just simply rejoin the lobby or quest and keep playing as if nothing ever happened.
Masterrank got included with a few more upgrade paths on the tree. Envirements got bigger and cozy.
Subspecies of Monsters are a great edition like the good old Rajang and Golden Rathian from older games.

10/10 Game

If you are new to the series, I would play RE2 and RE4 before this one.
Now to Requiem:
Perfect story game. Atmosphere and settings was always on point. I wont spoil anything but this game plays after RE2. I love that we can finally choose between third and first person cause I wasn't a friend of the first person from 7 and 8. Plays like a charm. Decent playtime to finish the classic mode. Good old inks to save the game wasn't that big of a deal. Mechanics are great. It is set more to the horror side. Masterpiece edition for sure and big recommendation (again if u have played RE2).
