I really didn't see the appeal. Even the negative reviews are saying like, "It's so fun but iron is hard to get :(" It's 2021, this game only has boss fights and the combat feels awful. There's better combat in games that came out before I was born. It has Ark level combat without all the things there are to do on the side in ark. After playing this I booted up my least favorite game in the world Cube World(Post-Release) to see how the combat compared and it blew this game out of the water.

Procedurally generated maps are the most overrated thing in gaming. The game plays out linearly and there is no incentive to explore. Maybe if they made an actual map with more interesting landmarks beside stupid readable rocks the exploration would be more interesting! The map is dead empty and boring and every time I went into a house it was a chest with like 3 arrows or a beehive. I searched up what was later in the game to see if it got any better but the dungeons were very Elder Scrolls Arena-esque where it had the same level of depth as a game from like 30 years ago.


"It's fun with friends!"

I could sit in a corner watching paint dry and friends could make that entertaining, just another among us trend where the game is absolute dog but since it's recommended to be played with friends then it's not just a bad game you just can't play it solo or you'll want to blow your brains out!

The leveling system is actually awful and you lose levels on death for some reason. You just see random skill numbers go up and it doesn't even tell you what they do so you just have to assume you're stronger.

Do people actually like the graphics on this game? This is one of the ugliest games I've seen where I was just hoping that the gameplay would carry it.

I don't usually trust steam reviews ever since I saw that games like BL3 have a positive rating, but Jesus guys, this is your early access champion? It brings nothing new to the table except its dated art style.

(I don't care that this is an indie game or early access, if it sucks it sucks.)
