This is one of my favorite games of all time. I spent so many hours on this game just playing solo, and man...

The only thing I don't like about this game... IS THAT THERE ISN'T DLC TO CONTINUE THE STORY

But that's hardly a complaint, I enjoyed the game so much and played it so thoroughly that I wished I could continue further on other adventures with the characters in the game. Like more arcs for the other characters. Even a short DLC on Avernus for those that chose that ending, maybe exploits with Astarion, helping rebuild the city with Jaheira.

I could imagine a gaming tycoon build a city sim with Jaheira, or just different side games for the other characters and your main character you could import.

That's to say, the story is written so well that even after almost 200 hours, you just want more.

I love this game. Thank you, Larian Studios for making a game that changed my life, and made me want to explore other CRPGs.

This game, I think, is the best MMO I have ever played in my life.

There is so many things to do in this game. Main story, job quests, CASINOOOOOOO, Blue Mage, side quests, housing (lol), chocobos, raiding, dungeons, soundtracks, minions, mounts, CRAFTING CLASSES.

I'm not even exaggerating. There's a stupid amount of stuff to do and let me just say, the community is all over the place but they're super open to new people and you'll find plenty of people to help you or just to chat honestly. The immersion can go as deep as you want. There are people (including my wife) who made Twitter accounts for their FFXIV OCs because they love FFXIV so much they don't want to spam everyone's twitter for those that don't play FFXIV.

When it comes to the story quality from best to worst:
- Endwalker
- Shadowbringer
- Heavensward
- Stormblood
- Base Game

The base game feels like a slog, but I would recommend not to skip anything because kind of how One Piece's story gets better the longer you stay with them as you build your family and learn their story, quirks, motivations, and bond-building experiences making painful parts hit that much harder. So much harder. (One Piece Marineford Arc Spoiler) When Ace died in One Piece (if you watched it/read it) if you didn't at least tear up, walk to the nearest fire cause your heart needs to thaw. There are moments sort of similar to that where ♥♥♥♥ just goes down. And hey, just cause Stormblood is near the bottom, it doesn't mean it's bad by any means. Traveling is annoying, but the story is great.

The game is great guys, go for it, don't be scared. Join our grand cult of catpeople, dargonpeople, bunnypeople, potats, fishpeople, tall zeldas and normies.
