The gacha is brutal but purely cosmetic. It has lots of timed events which keeps things fresh.

Just a solid fighting game. Every character feels unique and it has a ton of content, single player and multiplayer. Has an EZ mode control scheme so you can be semi-competitive regardless of current skill level. Feels worth the price at even at launch, which can't be said for most modern fighting games (or any AAA game really).

Only about 10 hours clocked so far, already some of the most fun I've had in a fighting game. Nice to see an older fighting game getting so much love considering how fast most are to die. It's tough to overstate how good the new netcode is, once you taste rollback you'll never want to go back.

If you can only use it with WiFi, save your money. That being said, it works fine with ethernet. If you live in a College dorm, just letting you know it probably won't work correctly, or at least it didn't for me. Instead I have to run an ethernet cable directly from the Steam Link to my PC. If anyone is wondering: yes, it does work. It may seem like an inefficient solution, but a 100' ethernet cable is far cheaper and easier to come across than a 100' hdmi cable. I also got this product on sale for $20, I don't know if my LAN setup would be worth the cost if I had gotten this full price. At full price, it would probably be better to go with a long HDMI. But if you're just using it on a home connection with ethernet, it will work mostly as intended, with some graphical glitchiness here and there. It does what it says it'll do.

NOTE:
It works great with pretty much every controller! It instantly connected to PS4 controller via bluetooth, and I just had to plug in my PS3 controller. It supposedly works natively with XBox360, XBone, and even WiiU Pro controllers too. Makes it SUPER easy to set up, no headaches at all.
