Hello Everyone!

To piggyback onto Week 3's content, how about we choose a game that could bring to light the idea of apprenticeship in learning to play games. What better game for putting the theory of apprenticeship than DOTA2?

I'll be the first to admit: I'm not an expert DOTA2 player. In fact, I've never played it past the tutorial stages. So, in order to make this event successful, I'll need some expert DOTA2 players from among our ranks to volunteer to help organize and mentor during the event. I will post two threads in the group forums - one for people to sign up to be mentors, and one for people who re not experts to sign up to play. Once we see how the numbers are shaking out, we can decide how to structure the event as far as getting everyone in game together.

As for a date, I'll propose Tuesday, October 29 at 8PM Eastern Daylight Time (which would translate to Wednesday, October 30 at midnight for GMT). That should put us outside of Valve's usual Tuesday 7PM Steam maintenance window.
