A group based around the Myst/Uru/Cyan Worlds fan community. Most of our members come from the Uru Obsession forums, but anyone who's a fan is welcome to join.

At the time of writing, the group has a dedicated server for Team Fortress 2 (The Conehenge - 158.123.198.54:27017) operated by Tlayeh, so add it to your favorites and drop by if you're free.

Cyan Announces Kickstarter for Firmament

Cyan has returned to Kickstarter to fund their next game, named Firmament.

Firmament is being built with VR at the forefront of its design, though it will be playable without VR as well.

Firmament is designed for and will be built from the ground up to take advantage of the VR sense of presence and a seamless interface. Stunning and enigmatic locations (with a certain callback to the steampunk roots of Myst) were conceived to allow for highly immersive and eclectic visuals for which the world-building artisans at Cyan are known.

While the main campaign is for a PC based game, their stretch goals include Mac and PSVR support as well.

As of writing, they have $724,274 of their $1,285,000 goal; with 13 days to go.

Shorah All,

Cyan Worlds has announced an amazing new Kickstarter.

They're working on updating every Myst series game to be compatible all the way up to the current versions of Windows 10.
While this Kickstarter is not to fund the development of these updated versions, if you pledge $49 or more, you'll get product keys for all of them when they are released! (That works out to $7 a game!)

That is the least of what's available. There are some incredible physical rewards being offered too!
There are no plans to offer the physical rewards anywhere outside of this Kickstarter, so if you don't pledge, you'll miss out.

I don't want to spoil the surprises; I'll be "linking" to the Kickstarter below. You'll want to "book"-it to get there before the Kickstarter is over, and check it out. (Any more jokey hints like that will get me tossed out of the cavern...)

Hey, in case you guys missed the announcement, MOULA is getting a content update tomorrow! Two new ages, and a city location!

Unfortunately the only person who has the power to do that has been offline for almost 4 months. I can't even change the permissions for people posting group announcements. All we can really do is react and kick people as it happens... I'll ask steam support if they're able to transfer leadership, but you know how speedy they can be in replying.
