Hello all! This is the first post detailing the transition from the old website to the new one!

For fleets who had hosted forums with STORP, for instance United Sector Taskforce or IKDF, this functionality is no longer provided in the same way. The old way was a long and complex process, one that was never really well communicated, needing a lot of administrative work and didn’t give much control to the actual fleet leaders. (That may have been a poor example, as both those fleets are led by administrators of STORP anyway!)

The new process is much easier, faster and better, allowing fleet leaders an increased amount of control and flexibility. While this may still require some administrative input, for instance, adding individual subforums to the various groups, fleet and RP leaders can create these groups immediately and have access to a basic forum ready to go. As time goes on, as well as when we receive feedback, we’ll be able to add additional functionality to these groups, at the forefront of this is an event editor.

In order to access the new group system, and set up one for your fleet or RP, just click on Fleet and Roleplay Groups at the top of every page.
