Reddit Tournament Announcement - Chat Rules

There are going a ton of people in the upcoming Reddit tournament. Because of this we are going to strictly enforce some chat rules during the tournament. The tournament chat room will only be used for announcements. That means NO idle chatter, GGs, etc. in the chat. Take it to the Community Chatroom or private messages. You will only be warned once via private message and after that removed from the chatroom and told why via private message. You can then return but any future chat and you will be banned from the chatroom. Be courteous to your fellow players and tournament organizers.

If you need to get ahold of a TO or talk about an issue just privately message Snook or Noetherian. They are the ones handling issues. If it is about the bracket message Justice. If it is about announcements message SeomanReborn.

Kittens, you are correct, I did respond in a rude manner and later apologized for that. I was not happy about being lied to. And allthough the tournament organizers were not recieving direct monetary benifits from running the tournament there is still a good deal to earn from hosting and organizing an event like that. Given the support and endorsement they received from stoneblade and the recognition and views earned for forgewatch (which do have monetary benifits) I just expected the organizers to be well...organized and more professional, you know, not lying. There is no doubt this tournament will earn them more support for future tournaments as well. I just hope they are able to learn from the experience and not disenfranchise passionate players who also support this game.

joe.. think about how many people Snook has to handle.. he has to keep over 200 people satisfied-- that's not easy. the way you responded was rude, regardless of the fact you couldn't play. Snook and the tourney organizers are NOT getting paid for this, you need to take that into consideration!!
