Kittens, you are correct, I did respond in a rude manner and later apologized for that. I was not happy about being lied to. And allthough the tournament organizers were not recieving direct monetary benifits from running the tournament there is still a good deal to earn from hosting and organizing an event like that. Given the support and endorsement they received from stoneblade and the recognition and views earned for forgewatch (which do have monetary benifits) I just expected the organizers to be well...organized and more professional, you know, not lying. There is no doubt this tournament will earn them more support for future tournaments as well. I just hope they are able to learn from the experience and not disenfranchise passionate players who also support this game.

joe.. think about how many people Snook has to handle.. he has to keep over 200 people satisfied-- that's not easy. the way you responded was rude, regardless of the fact you couldn't play. Snook and the tourney organizers are NOT getting paid for this, you need to take that into consideration!!
