Red Shift eSports - Official and Fan Page

Red Shift eSports formed in March 2016 with the long-term goal of becoming South Africa's next big Multi-Gaming Organisation (MGO).

We currently have teams in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends and DotA 2. All teams are currently participating in the Digital Gaming League .

Red Shift eSports is very unique with our professional eSports image and a hunger to climb the ranks and showcase South Africa's real gaming talents. We are an eSports organisation which mostly consists of players who are friends and who have been gaming together for many years.

The Name:

In Physics, Red Shift occurs when light or other electromagentic radiation from an object is increased in wavelength or shifted to the red of the spectrum. For example, red stars that we see in the night sky are moving away from us at high speeds.

We use this phenomenon to describe The Red Shift eSports vision. We aim to iomprove our gaming skills and knowledge to move up the divisons very quickly so that we can represent and showcase South Africa's gaming talents to the rest of the world.

The Logo:

The Red Shift eSports logo is a red star spiraling and moving away from its target at a high speed. This represents our drive and hunger to achieve and move to our next goal as we climb the eSports ladder so that eventually, Red Shift eSports will be the red star that fans and gaming lovers will look towards when chasing their gaming dreams.
