In this episode of IGTD, we take a look at VEIN, the latest and greatest zombie apocalypse release on Steam! It's being described as "1st Person Project Zomboid" which is apt based on my limited experience with it. It's got very robust systems for skills, health/status, electricity/power, cooking, construction, crafting, transportation, and more and it just keeps getting better. In this episode we take a look at Necesse! I played this a few years ago during Early Access (and enjoyed it!) but now that version 1.0 has been released, it's time to take another peek!

It's a 2D open world survival crafting building game with procedural maps, multiple biomes, dungeons, questing, boss fights, NPC towns, and tons of loot!!
You can even establish your own settlement and hire various NPCs to help with chores and even join your adventures! It's essentially like a top-down Terraria plus Rimworld all rolled into one!
