It was a tough decision but we have finally decided to shut down the GANG web site, along with the legacy Nipples of Fate web site

This doesn't mean the network is dead but we're certainly not doing any ad services, promos, feed aggregation, or event coverage.. for the foreseeable future. We've slowly been doing more game nights and getting back to the basics. The current plan is to perhaps come back to the podcast scene and maybe YouTube. Twitch is too restrictive and competitive these days, and we just don't have enough bewbz TBH. =oP

Anywho, it was a very good run.. NoF and the GANG live on but, if we ever make a big team push (which is hard because it seems everyone is spread thin these days), we'll keep it simple. Hey, considering we started all this madness around 1999 (as far as the web site goes), I'd say we did pretty darn good.

Thanks to Andy (a.k.a. Err0r, the greatest lurker you'll ever not meet) for taking initiative to buy the domains and run servers for us. He never asked us for anything and was happy to pitch in. Sadly, it kinda bit us in the butt in the end as he couldn't keep it going and we had to shut down pretty abruptly (no backups or anything) but, hey, everything happens for a reason!

What I've learned is that people rather work 10x as hard and do their own thing, reinventing the wheel throughout and grinding fruitlessly, than to collaborate and really do something different, something bigger than themselves. Ultimately, it was just a handful of us carrying most of the load. If/when we really ramp up content creation again, I'm definitely keeping it small and ramping up organically.. The burnout factor is just too much when everyone wants the free clout but won't put in the work.

Welp.. Love you guys and thanks for the good times. We'll be lurking about in the ether of the Internet for now... ;)
