Server Rules:

To help preserve the ‘Pax Europa’, new members will be admitted only after applying through our TS Server, ‘Port Jackson’ and answering 3 simple questions based on the Server Rules below:

The Systems Commonwealth:

• All Gentle and Eccentric Stars are Commonwealth Territory.

• There shall be no Factions, looting or murder on these Systems.

• The Laws of this Dominion span the entire Europa Universe and are an analogy for Server Rules.

The Judicial Department:

• The Sheriff and his Deputies are charged with keeping these Laws.

• They are permitted to Scourge (Delete) worlds, Banish (Temp Ban) and Execute (Ban).

Players:

• Players can claim Gentle and Eccentric Planets.

• The claim and location must be publicly declared on the Forum.

• To indicate ownership a structure or flag will be erected at the Landing Zone (LZ).

• Leave immediately if you accidentally land on a claimed planet after your first spawn.

Factions:

• Members forfeit all claims on Gentle and Eccentric Planets.

• Factions can only be established in Radiation, Frozen and Firey Systems.

Closing Server.

Last night I lost someone very valuable to me, whose true value I did not see until she had gone. Starbound was a game we both enjoyed and with her gone, I see no purpose or reason to continue hosting a Server, or this Group. Good bye.

As you should be aware by now, the last update had a lot of changes for us to get used to. One of these was the server was opened to the public. That took us all by surprise, and I have seen some of what these people can do. Most are pretty good people who just want to enjoy their time on the server.

Now Salaawa has been working really hard on sorting out individual login's and passwords and make the server private again, he hit a snag, which turned out be the size of an iceberg. The server cannot be closed off without crashing the server and making it useless to us. The template given to server owners has turned out to be useless.

So until they decide to make it an issue and fix this, the server will be open until the next major drop. Which for all we know will be 6 months or a year away.

Just remember that your planet is an extremely small dot on a MASSIVE board, and unless you are close to the starter system, you should be fairly safe. If you check the coords of my HW, it's not only far away and costs a whole tank to get to, it's also not something you are going to stumble across when you have the shear amount of space that we have access to. Don't invite anyone to your HW you don't trust and you will be ok.
