Huzzah!

Cave Story (洞窟物語 Doukutsu Monogatari) is a freeware platform-adventure video game created Amaya "Pixel" Daisuke (Studio Pixel). Released in 2004 for the PC, Cave Story gradually gained popularity on the Internet, and received wide critical acclaim for its compelling story and gameplay.

This is a Steam community group devoted to all loving fans of Cave Story.
If you have never heard of Cave Story, you can get it for free from the Cave Story Tribute Site, or purchase Cave Story+ on Steam. Don't miss out on this great indie hit!

Cave Story+ Released on Steam

If you've been following the trend for the past few minutes, you might have noticed that Cave Story+ is released. If not, then let this be news for you.

If you are residing in the US or the UK, you should be able to purchase the game today. Just search for it in the Steam Store and it will be the first thing that shows up.

On a side note, the game will be sold at 15% off during the first week of release.

Cave Story+ Release Very Soon on Steam

In case you missed it, Nicalis has announced that all work on Cave Story+ for the Steam release is done, and will be available on Steam to both Windows and Mac platforms very soon.

It's expected to share the same features and upgrades from the Cave Story Wii PAL release, plus some Windows/Mac exclusive features. But will it have achievements? Who knows.

No release date has been given, but it is expected to be out in the coming days/weeks, so keep your eyes peeled if you're looking forward to it!
