We Like To Fight : Weekly DS2(SotFS) Fight Club Hosting Group

Welcome to "We Like To Fight" a Dark Souls II Fight Club hosting group.

RubMyCrit, Prince Unicorn and other WLTF members will be hosting weekly fight clubs at different locations across Dark Souls II (SotFS).

We will announce fight clubs on this group or on Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/darksoulsII

For now, join this group and invite your friends to know when and where the next Fight Club will be.

Members; use this group to host your own fight clubs anytime! Go to the discussion boards and make an event.

General Group Information:

When necessary, WLTF members can use Name Engraved Ring[darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com] to insure a proper connection. As a group we use Caffrey - Goddess of Fortune *Remember Name Engraved Ring can be removed after summoning
As a WLTF member we encourage you to keep DS2 PVP active. Be sure to use Cracked Red Eye Orbs, Cracked Blue Eye Orbs and visit the Belfries for constant world-PVP action. Keep other players on their toes!

PVP Hot Spot: Huntsman's Copse

This week's PVP Hot Spot is:

Huntsman's Copse

Wandering away from Majula, we find ourselves in a dark, forboding forest crawling with undeads. This forest zone is a necessary path for players to take in progression and many players find this to be the first zone they are invaded by red spirits. But be warned, many players summon help in this zone so prepare for gank fights!

In spirit of the fall season, Huntman's Copse will be the pvp Hot Spot this week. We encourage WLTF group members to PVP all over this zone in preparation for this weeks' upcoming fight clubs. Use of CREO, CBEO and Red Soapstones are always encouraged!

Possible arenas:

A) Forest Fight - Undead Lockaway (3rd Bonfire)

This area can be found just outside the Undead Lockaway at the 3rd bonfire in Huntsman's Copse. A somewhat rectangular arena, players will fight amongst the trees near the two bridges and the cave. This will be an interesting arena as the foreign objects provide a different obstacle. Players can spectate from either of the bridges.

If you would like to duel at this arena, place your red soapstone near the pile of burning bodies just outside the hut. Awaiting red phantoms can watch the fight from the elevated standing area with the railing.

This week's PVP Hot Spot is:

Heide's Tower of Flame

Here you will find the broken remnants of empire that once was. The setting/rising sun provides keeps the lonely heide knights and old knights company as they gaze endlessly over the horizon.

This week, we encourage WLTF group members to PVP all over this zone in preparation for this weeks' upcoming fight clubs. Use of CREO, CBEO and Red Soapstones are always encouraged!

Possible arenas:

A) Old Knight Arena - First Bonfire

This arena can be found adjacent to the first bonfire. After defeating the Old Knight with the greatsword and shield and a couple heide knights, you have access to a very central dueling platform.

If you would like to duel in this area place your red soapstone on this circular platform, near the stairs with the railing and platform that leads deeper into the zone or somewhere visible. Awaiting red phantoms can watch the fight from the elevated standing area with the railing.

B) Dragon Platform - Cathedral of the Blue bonfire

Remembered as the platform with the lone red dragon, this platform makes a great place to duel with awesome scenery overlooking the entire zone. Duelers that fight too close to the edge can be punished by falling off the edge.

If you would like to get summoned here; warp to the Cathedral of the Blue bonfire and walk through the cathedral to the draw bridge. Place your red sign just after stepping off the draw bridge and onto the circular platform. Otherwise, place it somewhere visible nearby and hope for an honorable duel wherever you are summoned.

Hello all, checking in. Sorry things have been quiet around here but I had to stop play Ds2 for a bit to focus on other things. I was hosting a lot of these events myself and was kind of hoping others in the group would start picking up where I left off.
Well I started a playing DS2 again because well, it's just too much damn fun. Anyway, I was thinking about maybe starting some more fight clubs in a bit but it would be nice to know if I had a few other people willing to host on given days. Thanks ~

1st RULE: You do not talk about FIGHT CLUB.

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB.

3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes limp, taps out the fight is over.

4th RULE: Only two guys to a fight.

5th RULE: One fight at a time.

6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes.

7th RULE: Fights will go on as long as they have to.

8th RULE: If this is your first night at FIGHT CLUB, you HAVE to fight.

Great question Frodlex! We highly encourage members to host their own Fight Clubs anytime. Best bet would be to post on the discussion boards "Host Your Own Fightclub" (http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/groups/WLTFDS2/discussions/3) . I posted and stickied a template for Fight Clubs if you need a place to start. For now, I will try to go through the forums periodically and escalate your events by placing them on the "official" WLTF events list. Also, we are always looking for trusted hosts for WLTF events. I usually host them, but I like fighting too :}

So, I generally love to host fight clubs, I usually just do it with random people, but I wouldn't mind the chance to start coordinating them here, how do I go about getting the attention of the online players?
