Yeah it's a real funny bit of TL history not most people know about outside of OJ fans and a couple of other niches lol.

Regarding the mention of Sora, I actually did obtain a copy of the SecuROM version of Sora at one point but lost it. After going through it, it was a clear work of trolling, not any sort of statement to be made. A lot of the names that weren't rammed through machine translation were replaced specifically with notable names. Tsih became T-elos (referencing Xenosaga) for example, and Sham became Siri (Hey apple!)

... I would know because my name and history reference it quite a bit, but I thought it'd be important to note while I was poring over the Yunyun mess.

I see. Thanks for the honest answer. Can't mirror it to the threads due to steam rules but at least I know, myself.

To answer your question -- My issue isn’t simply that Pragmata has a child character. It’s that the character design does not read to me like an actual child. It feels much closer to a stylized “loli” archetype: inward posture, exaggerated submissiveness, constant appeasement, and an underdressed, barefoot presentation that seems engineered to make vulnerability itself look cute. As a parent, that does not strike me as innocent or endearing. My instinct when I see a little girl presented that way is protective, not affectionate. So I think it is fair to ask what exactly people are responding to when they defend that design so casually. Are they connecting to the story and the bond between characters, or are they responding to the way dependence, fragility, and childlike exposure have been aestheticized? Her design was totally a marketing choice; That is the part I find unsettling.
