In order to ensure timely, consistent and most importunity accurate responses on the Paradox and Steam Forums, VeF is appointing "Golladan" as Community Manager. In this role, he speaks officially for the team. He will be responsible for collecting feedback and bug reports from the community and ensuring they are properly reported in our internal bug tracker, as well as answering questions about the mod.

This is not to say that others on the team won't respond as appropriate on matters, simply to say that Golladan speaks authoritatively for the team.

Please don't bombard him with private messages - requests for enhancements, suggestions and bug reports should continue to be posted in their appropriate threads here or on the Paradox Forums.

Key Features

A vastly updated map, with over a 100 new countries (both formable and already in existence), including hybrid nations such as the Celtic & Angevin Empires!
A hugely redesigned Anatolian map, courtesy of CanOmer!
Nation specific factions, noticeable in nations such as Great Britain, Byzantium, Persia, Russia, Japan, Osman, the Angevin Empire, and a great many more!
Several custom and updated religions, including Pagan religions such as Romuva, and the integration of religious minorities in provinces, too!
The addition of nearly 100 Great Historical Persons available as advisors, and featuring new portraits all advisors (including vanilla ones)!

Unique Game Mechanics

The Stability System, designed to entirely separate Stability from Monarch Points!
The Administrative Capacity System, designed to more historically manage your realm, and to add extra depth to the gameplay that already exists!
An Aristocratic System, where the opportunistic nobles who reside within your lands will routinely pressure the government, providing an extra layer of depth, alongside the various bonuses and effects that come with or without them!
A Vassal System, featuring a steady integration process for vassals you wish to annex, and an improvement process for vassals you don't!
The Research System, allowing you to spend our new currency - the Ruler Point (???) - on a various stream of tech-tree upgrades for your nation!
The Provincial Government System, where various factors such as stability and aristocracy power are calculated separate from vanilla mechanics!
The Raid and Tribute System, where you can ensure your well-being from the occasional raids of the hordes through periodic gold subsidies!

New Content

The Hansaeatic League: Join this historic trade conglomeration, where the individually-puny members of this merchant league combine their strength to rule Baltic and German trade. Each elected leader dominates the other member nations for a term of eight years, until which time the member nations are gathered once more to vote and determine which nation will become the next leader of the great Hansaetic League!
The Daimyos of Japan: Experience our hugely remastered feudal Japan! Take control of any one of several historic daimyos, each with custom and unique ideas, and relive the brutal days that led up to the Sengoku Jidai era. Watch the chaos unleash itself upon this unseemingly brutal island, as every faction is forced to choose between two sides. Either vie for the Emperor's favor, bringing together the country through its imperial roots, or unite Japan under the banner of the Shogun!
The Hundred Years' War: Engage in the the last great Medieval war, engulfing nearly a dozen separate French and English factions in a war that spanned almost a century, and attempt to lead your respective country out of these dire straits and into historical (or not so historical) glory!

Howdy! :D I don't know why, but I am unable to comment in the workshop page where the mod is located. I have tried to download the mod using the dropbox link, but all it adds is this vef.mod file that's 2,000 something bytes. I don't know what to do. Thanks!

Since i cannot post in the suggestions folder i am going to just comment here.

Imo the VeF wiki is very bareboned and frankly very unfinished. Also the pages that do exist are really skeletal.

If it is ok, i could start work to "rework" the wiki, more specifically the country part of it, to look alot more like the EU4 wiki, or atleast i can attempt to.

However if it is intentional for the wiki to look like this i won't touch it :)
