Despite the racial slurs I pretty much ignored the harassment as I really didn't care about their view or attempt on starting something during the time but I'm still no supporter of racism.

I seriously hope something is done about him soon. He joined again yesterday and talked trash to me for reporting him but I ignored it until he left
He said he'll make an pology here, and if we can let bygones be bygones cool, if not, theres 3 servers, and a mute button.
Also while on the subject I would also like to address your other comment Nasty. I am not quite sure when exactly I might have said anything to you yesterday other than maybe an ingame call out, as I was on around 10ish Pacific time, and I don't specifcally remember playing with you or playing for that long really. Nor do I know you reported me, honestly I only saw this just now because Panda joined in a match and told me you wrote this. If I did say anything along the lines of an insult I apologize, I never really get mad at people for anything (Especially not for the color for their skin), even if I do normally just do it in a sarcastic manner that makes it very apparent I don't mean ill will towards them. I'm currently not mad at you for making this report, you raise a good argument and you have every right to hate me or defile my reputation for the comments I have made. Truly at the end of the day I would accept a ban from the Sernix servers.
If you all do see this as nothing more than some dude on the internet trying to cover his ass, then so be it I will not contest the decision made by you, just know that I feel guilty and downright sad that I hurt people through my words. I promise I will avoid making any such comments in the future and if anything so much as slips out please feel free to ban me on the spot.
On a side note, you're correct it was cclark who joined in on that little tirad I had, I would deffinently confront him about this if I were you.
Again truly sorry for any offense done, I never ever mean to wish ill will upon any race, have a good one.

Think about what newcomers to these servers are going to feel like when they join to hear you trash talking asians and picking on other players. It ruins the friendly community vibe of sernix.
Panda, I understand that there is a mute button and that I can join any other sernix server that he is not on. However, i'm sure many other players (not just asians, but people who get uncomfortable with that aggressive form of racism) are probably going to have to jump through the same hoops once they discover the hard way, a guy on sernix regularly, who targets people based on their race. I, personally, am not going to stand for these 'jokes' to happen to other players. Does not matter what platform it is, movies, tv shows, video games, books, music etc., this outdated way of thinking is the reason why so many people are being mistreated based on race/ethnicity. These 'jokes' promote closemindedness, stereotypes, and aggression toward people of color and need to stop
It is especially as dissappointing that you gamer, a person of color, are still promoting this crap toward other people of color.
I join to relax, have fun and to meet cool people after dealing with stressors from life and i'm sure many other people do too. I also agree banning for anyone who really likes these servers would be very bad. Just take that negativity elsewhere like pvp or something where people are more ready to burn you back. Stop doing it here where people go to have a good time. I can agree to play with you objectively, work as a team toward the goals of the game, and let these bygones be bygones so long as you do not harass me, or any other players based on things that we cannot change. Do we have ourselves a deal?
Nasty, the true reason I treat racism as a joke is more because I have great disdain for bigots. Most of the comments I made were meant to create a satirical personification of a racist person, much like you would see in Family Guy skit or an article by The Onion. I make those comments, because racism is ever prevelant in modern soceity, and to make them in a comedic way not only can make someone laugh but also draw attention to current problem. I do not promote racism in any way, it's a disgusting thing to hate someone for something they did not do. But at the same time I do recognize race as major factor in our lives, as racism still exists in many places, and also to deny race is to deny evolution and the biological adaption of humans in different regions. But just because I see race does not mean I judge others by it. Sadly race is a major factor no one has a choice in. If it's a dicision you did not make, why would I judge you by it? I personally don't, but sadly it is a question many answer with "I do".
Also, to further elaborate on the comment I made to you after that incident. "Damn Nasty on again? Don't you have a life?" That's something that I have said to many of the frequent players on Sernix (Major Paine, KAST, Casperlee etc.) I just say it in a sarcastic jokin manner, kinda like a friendly insult I suppose. I myself play on Sernix alot and it was more meant to be an ironic joke. I never meant to harass you or insult you, I was just trying to be friendly, but now knowing your thought process, I will try to behave in a manner more acceptable to you.
Again I did not even know you had said anything about my comments, much less would I have targeted you for it. I may be an asshole, but I'd never attack someone simply because of their opinion on me.
Not to say say what you did was wrong, rather for future reference. If The_Asian or you or anyone that night would have just simply said "Hey Gamer that's really offensive/mean, could you please stop." I would have shut up, apologised and left the game, and go on to feel terrible for the rest of my day.
Also if you or anyone have a problem with anything I do; the way I play, what I say, what weapons I use, etc. Please just say something on the spot, I'd prefer you just confront me then and there, and tell me what I am doing wrong so that I may make the situation more comfortable for you.
Also to you The_Asian, I am so very sorry. I never wanted to harrass and target you directly, it just happend you were in a situation that I felt I could make a comedic banter out of, which truly turned into a more of a racist rant. That resulted in me saying insutling comments towards you and many others of your ethnicity. Which with the benefit of hindsight I should've stopped after that initial joke, I feel like the piece of shit that I am for saying what I did that night.
I never meant to ruin the community or be the asshole that I am, I just see everything in a different light than most everyone else. Sadly the way in which I see things and thereby talk is viewed as insulting to many people.
Honestly when I'm playing a game in which I'm slaughtering hundreds of people, morality tends to fall out the window, and I kinda just speak my mind not really taking into account the people around me.
I'll gladly accept that deal Nasty, if I ever do spout anything you or anyone else reading this, deem as harrassment either tell me to shut up, leave, or kick me. I won't hold any hard feelings for you doing so.

Glad you guys were able to work it out.
In regards to the guy discriminating against the muslim religion and or races that practice it, just report the details: name, server, if anything was said in chat, and recording if possible and or witness accounts.
Its one thing to jokingly make fun of stereotypes/self-stereotypes with friendly regulars and no ill-will vs spouting nonsense in a derogatory way.
I don't mind people that are against certain religions, thats their belief.. Sernix is no place though to convey these beliefs unless it is an open-minded, healthy/constructive discussion of multiple participants/views and not a single person/group of people shitting out derogatory, hurtful, ignorant statements. There is a line here on Sernix and everyone needs to use common sense and it needs to be civil.
However, being against a race is the most ignorant form of being a human considering that the DNA sequence of all humans are 99.5% similar to any other humans. The problems that humans face today in regards to race are all socially constructed and no one race is exempt from being racist.
The Muslim and racial topics today are very complex subjects with political/religious/corporate agendas that further distort and complicate them. I can understand different viewpoint and for me I'm always open-minded and never one-sided because if you're never willing to listen, you're objectively trying to fix the problem.
