Sernix 24/7 Coop Insurgency Group

This is a group for people who enjoy playing on the Sernix 24/7 Coop Server.

Intro to our heavily modded server. Visit Here to find more detailed features.

Over 3 years and tons of community effort has gone into curating and balancing Sernix coop to what it is today. Everything has been balanced and modded to feel more realistic but also balance gameplay with whats fun.

This community is mostly for Insurgency but we also currently host and plan to host other fun coop games that support modding so please feel free to check out our servers below and open a discussion on any games we host.

We also host a highly modded Mount&Blade With Fire and Sword Coop server with fully rehauled server code, 20+ custom maps, Custom AI code, loadouts, stats, Boss AI, Mini-Quests, and battles of up to 200 vs 400 AI. No external downloads necessarily.
Server is called Dynamic_Squads_vX_X via in-game server browser and has been active for over 4 years now

Happy New Years All!

Hope everyone is safe and doing well.

Someone pinged me to let me know the Insurgency Server was hung up. Resolved and decided to take the opportunity to add new workshop maps.

Once I saw Mike Hawk =) is back fixing his older maps and porting new ones, I had to add them to the rotation and may play them this week when I have time. In addition to Mike's maps, I hand picked some other notable ones to add to the rotation and will link them below in the complete list.

If you haven't played on SERNIX INS1 in sometime, I made an update in 2019 and generally things should be easier than it once was and less frustrating.

General Details:

Movement is faster (no friction bs) especially with weight perks.
Enemies (and jugs) are no longer bullet sponges.
Bombers/Jugs are fewer overall, especially lower player counts(AI director adjusts them more optimally)
AI Director improved and will respond better to how well the team is doing.

I've been running Sandstorm servers for a few years now, but my INS roots started with me as a player, then later as an admin, for Sernix. Much love, Daimyo! Too much fun man! No other gameplay has been quite like Sernix, not even Sandstorm with all its mods and so on. Daimyo crafted that perfect balance between realism and fun. I'm forever in your debt.

I miss playing Sernix servers! getting destroyed by IEDs even when in cover was traumatizing to say the least lol

January of 2025 will be around the 10 year anniversary for Sernix. A few months away. So, what's the plan to celebrate?

Nice to see some reminiscing posts. Even sandstorm can't match the Sernix Insurgency days and the great community we all had. Love y'all

Prior to sandstorm. I remember machine gunners spraying giving cover, snipers would pick the bad guys afar, medics crawling through hell to revive, rifleman clearing on point, rocketboys blowing up clumps after clumps of bots. IEDS 24/7 lol..!! Molotovs roasting them boys. Felt like we went through war, in a game, but we are veterens!
