Play fair and play by the rules!

*Rules*

1. Do not leave the game!

*If you feel like you have become obsolete, or for any other reason, let the other members know! If they agree you have become obsolete, or agree to you leaving for any other reason, you may leave!

*You may also leave if: You lost your capital city, all other players agree the game is pointless to continue, or if a real life issue shows up.

If someone leaves the game without letting the other players know, please report them to the mods!

2. No exploits!

*These include but are not limited to; use of trade bug and endless tech loop bug (when you bulb/expend 8 Great Scientists in one turn without having discovered sailing or when you have and Scholars in Residence passes.

3. Crashes: If the game crashes, meet up with the others in chat to let them know!

4. Disconnects: If a player disconnects without warning, give him at least 10 minutes to reconnect. If he doesn't reconnected or make an effort to communicate the players he was playing with withing 10 minutes, report him.

5. If you spawn as a Civ you do not like, or is generally considered poor, you can request a remake. If all other players agree, you may reroll another Civ. Players who abuse this rule should be reported.

6. Diplomacy:

*Trading and diplomacy is allowed between players, but not with the AI (Except Embassies and Open Border deals. Try to avoid trading gold and luxuries.)

*Don't abuse the City States!

*Worker Stealing is allowed.

*No city trading except in peace deals!

*To avoid alliances between friends to rig World Congress voting, a player may only vote for himself as World Leader.

7. Warfare: Shift moves are not allowed! This gives the opponent no time to react!

*Do not repair the opponents tiles!

8. Miscellaneous:

*''Suicide'' by sabotaging your city to render it obsolete is not allowed.

*Games with glitches or technical problems can be reloaded if all players agree to do so.

*If you see any player cheating or no obeying the rules, please report them!

*If you see any moderators abusing their power, please report them as well.

***If you have suggestions to add new rules or modify an existing rule, make sure to contact the group admins and moderators!

***If you dare touch Cahokia the owner will be mad at you for life, but since you are not technically breaking any rules... Touch away.... I guess.

- no turn timer, breaks for RL stuff when needed
- UTC+10 timezone, Melbourne, Australia

FAQ
What if I dont have time? We dont need to finish the game in one sitting, I am online often.
When? No particular date/time, anytime we are both online.
Where? Ping is not an issue, I regularly play with people from various parts of the world.
Why? I like civ, especially multiplayer games. Always on the lookout for contenders.
I loose games often, and the prize has been won numerous times.
Happy to give tips if you are learning :)

Another rule I think you should add is no trading things to other players when you're about to lose. I've seen games be ruined because someone about to lose give up all of their money, luxuries, etc. to another player.
