Dedicated to Sim Racers!

Here at Race UK we aim to have the best and clean racing possible in order to have the most fun. Over the years I have played racing games and simulators only to find a lot of people online would rather ruin the fun by crashing into you or cheating. These kind of players are not welcome here. The most fun i have had racing has been racing clean and close with friends, and this is what we look to achieve.

In order to achieve this, there are a strict set of rules that you must follow. For those of you who have played other racing sims in the past, they wont be anything new to you, but for those of you who have not then please read.

Qualifying

- When exiting the pits, stay within the pit line, this will allow drivers on hot laps to continue at their pace and not worry about you cutting them off.

- On out laps or in laps, be aware of your surroundings, if you have been shown a blue flag then move over, Let faster drivers through

- After a spin or an off where your lap time is invalidated then others have priority and you are expected to let them pass, If you spin off track, Be aware of other cars approaching and let them pass first. In the event that you spin on the track, DO NOT MOVE. Those who are aware will see you and avoid you.

- Do not race, its a time trial, you are risking a collision or ruining another players hot lap.


Racing

- Weaving is not allowed, Similar to F1 rules, you will be allowed to make 1 or 2 movements to try and defend, however excessive weaving is not acceptable and un-sportsman like.

- Shortcuts are not permitted, most of the time the game will punish you for taking these however in the event that you have gained time and a position then you will be expected to give that position back.

- Racing incidents happen and there is nothing anyone can do about them, however in the event it does happen, apologize and move on purposely pushing people off track because of an incident is unsportsmanlike and is not acceptable.

Community

- Upon joining the group you will be allowed to use the [RUK] tag in your name however you must remember that you are representing our community and are expected to remain friendly to other players and are expected to use the above rules in public lobbies to uphold our reputation.


Failing to follow the above rules may result in suspension from official events and future leagues, any extreme incidents may lead to a permanent ban from the community.
