Solid racing game - not taking itself too seriously but it's definitely not Need For Speed fantasy.

Simply boring. It all looks and feels good, except for the unique 'team play' aspect that GRID (2008) introduced to the genre. The role of your teammate is hardly noticeable, mostly because you hardly have any influence over your team.

Now, you'll see that I've only clocked 4 hours into this. That is 3 hours of career and an hour of exploring the tournaments. After these 4 hours I was still bored and thought "is it me?". I ended up looking up reviews on metacritic and youtube just to see what I'm missing. From what I gather, the answer is "no, it's not just me". The racing is too 'sim' for an arcade racer and the career mode is WAY TOO LONG and extremely repetitive. It forces you to race the same track multiple times in a row and of the 5 modes to go throw, even 1 of them is the length of GRID2 career alone.

I got this game in a bundle for dirt cheap (1 euro for 5 games), but with my backlog of games, it is more a matter of time which makes this game unwanted.
