The third Clan War starts on Wednesday, December 18th. A strong start on DAY ONE is essential to win the 5 day contest (ends Monday, Dec 23rd @ 3pm EST).

LOGIN at 9pm on Wednesday and party-up with clanmates.

Our strategy is to HIT and capture the LESSER played game modes FAST. They include:

1. Blitz
2. Cranked
3. Hunted
4. S&R

We need to win these modes while our online numbers are high. Once day one captures are secured, we switch to the more populated game modes (TDM and DOM) where games are easy to get at anytime.

IT IS CRUCIAL THAT WE HIT FAST AND HARD ON THE LESSER PLAYED GAME MODES ON DAY ONE.

The majority of players are unclear how the scoring works in a Clan War...if that's you, read on!

CLAN WARS SCORING FAQ/OVERVIEW

We will be placed in a division with 7 other similar sized clans (Should be Gold again). The clan with the most "Capture Points" at the end of the 5 day cycle, wins the war.

Capture Points (CP's) are earned by getting the designated number of wins in each of 10 different game modes/nodes. During the 5 day clan war, ANYTIME you play a game of GHOSTS, and win, it is worth ONE win towards our clan totals in that game mode. The clan gets one point for EVERY clan member in the party. For example, when a clan party of 6 wins a game of DOM, we get 6 wins towards the DOM node; a party of 4 winning = 4 wins, etc.

In the prior war, the scoring was about as follows:

1. Blitz (10 capture points - took 50 wins)
2. Hunted (10 capture points - took 50 wins)
3. TDM (15 capture points - took 150 wins)
4. DOM (30 capture points - took 300 wins)
5. Hard Core TDM (12 capture points - took 80 wins)
6. Search & Destroy (?)
7. Kill Confirmed (10 capture points - 50 wins)
8. Hard Core Kill Confirmed (?)
9. Hard Core Search & Rescue (?)
10. Search & Rescue (?)

So, to get the 10 capture points of Blitz (takes 50wins), a party of 5 could do it in 10 wins ( 5 wins per game x 10 wins = 50 points). Or two people could get 25 wins (2 x 25 = 50) or any other combination. Any 50 wins by our clan in that game mode, counts towards our clan score for that mode. The first clan to 50 wins, gets the 10 Capture Points. The more people we have online winning, the faster we capture the game modes with their respective Capture Points prizes.

The clan with the most CP's on Monday at 3pm EST wins.

Once a game mode is ours, we get experience bonuses any time we play it, and additional capture points for holding it every 24 hours.

A captured mode goes neutral, when all other clans total the leader's number of wins. So, if we take a mode with 50 wins (and get its 12 capture points), once the other clans total 50 wins, the mode goes neutral and is up for grabs again. The first clan back up to 50 re-captures it (with its prize of capture points).
