Neverbroken: The Return of Neverwinter

In 1489 DR, the Thay/Shadovar war has ended and Neverwinter still stands. However, schemes of its demise still linger in the air. Rumors of Orcs, Elves, and ancient races in Neverwinter Woods spread about the surrounding villages. People continue to disappear in The Chasm district and the groans of monsters are said to be heard during the night. All is not without hope as Lord Neverember continues rebuilding the city as its Lord Protector. However, the Lords of Waterdeep suspect that Neverember is using the chaos to position himself as the next Open Lord of both Neverwinter and Waterdeep and will use this power to become the new Emperor of The Sword Coast, something not seen since the Lords' Alliance was founded. The Lords of Waterdeep have agreed to send a hired group of adventures to investigate Lord Neverember and determine if he seeks to claim Neverwinter as his own.
