EU based Natural Selection 2 group for organized casual play

NS2 Playground aims to provide a way for EU-based players to play Natural Selection 2 as a team, developing tactics and learning the game together. NS2 Playground is not a competetive clan. We just like to play the game the way it's meant to be played and how it' the most fun: As a team, using voice communication for superior performance on the battlefield.

I'm currently waiting for the server guy to accpet my friendship invitation, I was hoping that I could tell you more today but I wasn't able to rach him yet ;)
About a play pattern, we will just have to see. We are a fairly large group right now from just looking at the member #, but not I guess it will fluctuate, some people might take a break etc. What's important is that each of us gets to play with others in an organized fashion regularly. To this end we will try to announce some days and times each week when everyone is welcome to join. Those dates should cover as man different work, sleep and leisure time patterns as possible ;)

Once everyone has clocked in, hopefully we can establish a pattern (not strict of course), where most of us are online and it's convenient to play, if not each night then at least each week. Getting at least 6 or so of us together on a team for a few rounds would be a start.

Also, to get things moving, I'm currently organising a match for this weekend, probably Saturday, on a Server with reserved slots for us that was offered to me by a friendly chap from the NS2 forums. I'll make a dedicated announcement when everything is in place :)

Very well. I have no experience with managing steam groups, but I will look into it.

I think it's just one layer/hurdle people arnt keen to jump through, we already have the official forums to discuss the game, as for banding together with this group for organised games, that can easily be done with the tools in steam. If we were a competative team or the like it would be different, just it's just a casual group for playing pub games in a more organised manner, and the steam groups are designed for that very kind of thing.
