About a play pattern, we will just have to see. We are a fairly large group right now from just looking at the member #, but not I guess it will fluctuate, some people might take a break etc. What's important is that each of us gets to play with others in an organized fashion regularly. To this end we will try to announce some days and times each week when everyone is welcome to join. Those dates should cover as man different work, sleep and leisure time patterns as possible ;)

Once everyone has clocked in, hopefully we can establish a pattern (not strict of course), where most of us are online and it's convenient to play, if not each night then at least each week. Getting at least 6 or so of us together on a team for a few rounds would be a start.

Also, to get things moving, I'm currently organising a match for this weekend, probably Saturday, on a Server with reserved slots for us that was offered to me by a friendly chap from the NS2 forums. I'll make a dedicated announcement when everything is in place :)

Very well. I have no experience with managing steam groups, but I will look into it.

I think it's just one layer/hurdle people arnt keen to jump through, we already have the official forums to discuss the game, as for banding together with this group for organised games, that can easily be done with the tools in steam. If we were a competative team or the like it would be different, just it's just a casual group for playing pub games in a more organised manner, and the steam groups are designed for that very kind of thing.

It does seem that way, but I don't see the reason why.

Yeah, thing is, it's much easier to collect all the required information, such as time, date, server, teamspeak, etc. in a forum than in this convoluted mess that is the steam group comments section :)

actually im not interested to get into some Forum stuff involved, untill we played 1 2 Rounds together. Lets set up a Time to meet on a server, and play a bit.

Hi all, I'd like to get involved in some competitive 6v6 play. Played NS1 and CS in fairly casual clans and have already played quite a lot of NS2 including a few gathers, are you planning to organise regular pcw/scrims or just pub play? It sounds like there's still a week left to sign up for ENSL season 1, would probably be good experience even if it means getting stomped 4-0 every week!

Is here some1 involved in the rts playstyle? So hes able to do the Commander?

I tried out a Gather today, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It really helps understand the game. Don't be afraid if you get killed all the time, I suck too and it's more important to carry on and understand how the game works than to mindlessly charge the enemy without getting the bigger picture ;)

Great progress, myself and Prof.Marto have started using the gathers.

A quick note for all players, please take a look at the following thread which explains the whole "Gather" things in detail. I didn't have time to take part in it yet, but I will surely do so in the next days and I strongly encourage others to do so as well, looks like a good way to learn the game in a somewhat organized manner until we can get our own games going.

I have also gotten the offer to play on peacemaker420's owns server at 83.81.42.2 ("THEY'RE IN THE WALLS") so this would be a good location to play our first games on.

On a side note, I am currently still budy recruiting more players, it looks like we have three more coming in, so I assume by mid or end of next week we will have enough players to start playing for real ;)

I probably won't make any important announcements before sunday evening, so that won't be a problem :)

Lovely. If there's something this weekend I might miss it, I typically have little time on saturdays and sundays due to being out of town. Week days I'm free 99% of the time.
