there has been some unbans a few days ago, so there is hope. The current ongoing ban wave targeted towards xp boosting players with red/pink service medals. I believe, we should be unbanned whenever they finish, or alternatively it could be when demos/overwatch are reintroduced.

it's a matter of just waiting and being patient i suppose. They will have to unban us soon.

Hopefully, I was thinking this way until I went onto youtube and saw that this has been going on for years without a resolution. Appreciate your positive outlook and comments.

It's been more than a month since you were banned, your patience is commendable. But, seeing that you have been banned since a month ago, is it possible that they will free you from your banned status (in this 1 month there have been quite a lot of updates aimed at 'fixing bugs' but what bugs)? I don't want to discourage you, but the community is also not very supportive and calls us cheaters for no reason (only guided by the fact that we will be punished as stated in the Terms of Service / our deal with the game). I'm sorry.

Yea theres a lot of others that have been banned 2-10+ more days than me, and still waiting. Valve is definitely doing something right they just banned a lot of cheaters/boosters with lots of skins & levels.

Agreed. I just want to take all my $ from their control. What they are doing should be illegal. Thanks for your input. As soon as i got some skins, people were adding me, one tried to session hijack my account, I have blocked 50 profiles in the past 3 days, I had to make my account private. It's sad that Steam doesn't step in, some of these profiles are obviously mains for accounts of cheaters, they use smurf accounts and transfer other peoples skins to their account/sell them. There are plenty of videos on the web, anyone denying it hasn't done their research, or is inf act part of the problem. My inclination though, is the latter.

I feel as if I am about to suffer from depression. Not only because of my assets in the game, but also because they have slandered my innocence. The inaction of Value Company is extremely absurd and makes people feel angry!

Um... are you having a VAC ban or a Game Ban? If a VAC ban, then I could not provide any specific information. But if it is a Game Ban, then something just happen in the game. May I know the issue or problem you have in about 2 or 3 games before you get banned?

I feel you, same thing happened to me and ppl harass and accuse, it’s emotionally damaging.

I have my update today, so there's actually a cheater in my previous games and me and my friend didn't notice it, but the system noticed about it this evening. Me and my friend rank got 'cleansed' just because we played with cheater which had been VAC banned now... still I'm banned for this dpi issue, and my rank is erased a whole? Good job then, letting the real cheaters to roam freely, while those who got false banned to be banned forever :(

We're here because we falsely banned, while the real cheaters? They roam away freely... and my friend told me he just met a few more aimbot cheaters in the past few days... sad, this game should not be this, sorry... bad. This game is a great game in the past :(

Maybe VALVE is going to handle this issue, however nobody knows the details about it but cs2team. All we can do is to wait and keep hope alive.

Same happened to my friend and I

Was just hit with this ban last night after goofing around at the start of a casual round spinning around with a negev with a couple friends.

Genuinely sad about all this, moreso because it's plastered on my profile like I'm some ousted criminal or something.

Googled around what it could have been and ended up at this group.

I did see 3/4 rather large gaming news websites reported on it so fingers crossed they do something to fix the bans.

I have however noticed the first guy who seemed to have the ban (Poggu I think his name was) is still banned after 50+ days. :/
