500+ DAYS STILL BANNED FOR HIGH DPI ......VALVE

This is absolutely useless information if you do not write the reason for your ban. Most of the people in this group received a ban for high mouse sensitivity. As far as I know, none of them were unbanned, just like me. Therefore, writing something like “I was unbanned” without indicating the reason is irresponsible. You are giving people false hope, although you were banned (and unbanned) for a different reason.

Well said.. I have been waiting for 432 days from a high dpi false ban. Wierd to see others get banned and then unbanned, while some people have been banned for longer. Lets keep it humble. Good luck to everyone. CSGO, get your sh!t together....

I’m reaching out to the community for advice, support, or guidance on an issue I’ve been battling for over a year.

It has been 411 days since I received a permanent ban on my CS2 account. This ban was issued under the VAC system, but I firmly believe it to be a false positive. I have never cheated, used unauthorized software, or violated the policies outlined by Valve.

Despite multiple attempts to contact Valve through official channels, including emails to the CS2 Team and VAC support, I have yet to receive a meaningful response or resolution.

I’ve gone so far as to provide proof of my innocence, such as:
   •   Consistent gameplay stats that show no irregularities.
   •   My use of FACEIT, which has stringent anti-cheat measures of its own.

This situation has been disheartening and deeply disappointing, especially given how much I’ve supported the game and its community over the years.

My request to Valve:
   •   A fair review of my ban.
   •   Transparency about the reason behind the decision.
   •   Reinstatement of my account if no wrongdoing is found.

To the community:
If you have experienced something similar or successfully resolved a ban, I would be grateful for any tips or advice on how to escalate this issue effectively.

I’ve enjoyed this game for so long, and I hate to see my relationship with it end in such an unjust way. Please share any resources, contacts, or strategies that could help bring attention to this matter.

I too have been wrongfully banned.
This issue has gone unresolved for over a year.
My ban may have been triggered by a glitch or misinterpretation within the VAC anti-cheat system by the use a mouse with a higher DP| setting.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to warn everyone that feels they are missing out on CSGO2 due to the recent false ban wave. Be careful of anyone else inviting you to any servers like FACEIT(example)- as it may be a scam.

Here is my story to provide context, anyone feel free to correct me or amplify / emphasize anything I missed got wrong.

I was hit with the DPI bug ban about a week ago. At the time I was trading some skins so I had set my profile to public. As soon as I went public, I received a LOT of friend requests. About 40 in 3 days. I decided to respond to someone's message of the list of people, asking if I would like to play with them. I work in cybersecurity so I like to learn about scams, and as I felt it was scammy already I fed into it to learn as much as I could about this particular approach. I think they were attempting top hijack my inventory byt adding me to a server of their own, and running tools etc to discover information about my IP. Here were the signs:

1. They wanted me to join their discord
2. They wanted me to share my screen
3. They wanted me to click on a link they sent to me
4. Their steam profiles were very limited, and 2 of them were level 2 on Steam.

These are flags that alert to an incoming SCAM. If you aren't aware of how people from CSGO2 are experiencing what scammer/hackers call 'session hijacking', please look through youtube to see how it has happened to many players joining 3rd party servers.

Someone messaged me yesterday asking to play, and he said he was going to play on FACEIT, and 40 minutes later he responded me about his gloves leaving his character and showing up on someone else's character on his team. He explained, they then called him a "LOSER" and booted him from the server. While this story may not be true as it was just a Steam friend online who shared it. However... I still wanted to emphasize being careful!!!

Sure our inventories are locked up currently, but it does look like this false ban is starting to be addressed. So be careful joining other unsecure servers, because trust me- having items locked up is better than having them stolen. I hope this post is not out of the forum topic, if anyone here has experienced this, please do share your insights.

We will always be fighting against hackers, however, we must stay vigilant. Do not allow people to sway you emotionally to do something that you have a bad feeling about, it's social engineering. I am sorry to anyone who this has happened to, and seek support to get this story out to everyone itching to hop into a match. Cheers, gamers.

I have my update today, so there's actually a cheater in my previous games and me and my friend didn't notice it, but the system noticed about it this evening. Me and my friend rank got 'cleansed' just because we played with cheater which had been VAC banned now... still I'm banned for this dpi issue, and my rank is erased a whole? Good job then, letting the real cheaters to roam freely, while those who got false banned to be banned forever :(

While I am anxiously hoping for my account to be unblocked, the employees of Value were having a fulfilling and beautiful weekend, and I was angry and frustrated. I feel as if I am about to suffer from depression. Not only because of my assets in the game, but also because they have slandered my innocence. The inaction of Value Company is extremely absurd and makes people feel angry!

I feel you, same thing happened to me and ppl harass and accuse, it’s emotionally damaging.

Yea theres a lot of others that have been banned 2-10+ more days than me, and still waiting. Valve is definitely doing something right they just banned a lot of cheaters/boosters with lots of skins & levels.

Agreed. I just want to take all my $ from their control. What they are doing should be illegal. Thanks for your input. As soon as i got some skins, people were adding me, one tried to session hijack my account, I have blocked 50 profiles in the past 3 days, I had to make my account private. It's sad that Steam doesn't step in, some of these profiles are obviously mains for accounts of cheaters, they use smurf accounts and transfer other peoples skins to their account/sell them. There are plenty of videos on the web, anyone denying it hasn't done their research, or is inf act part of the problem. My inclination though, is the latter.

Hopefully, I was thinking this way until I went onto youtube and saw that this has been going on for years without a resolution. Appreciate your positive outlook and comments.
