Welcome to a new beginning

Fragjunkies was born way back in the year 2003. I shut down the original community in 2008. I had been running half life dedicated servers since 2000. At first I ran The specialists mod at 1.0b, then I ran a CS server until Dayofdefeat was released as a beta mod for half life one. At that time CS was so full of cheaters I just wanted to move to something new and I loved the game play with dod. So I've been running HL1 mod servers for 14 years. Over time the people that play on servers can get on your nerves, so several times I have shut down my servers and taken breaks from the gaming community. I'm a golf professional now and I only play during certain months of the year or when I'm physically hurt and need something to take my mind off of not being able to play golf.

In the future there will be times that I won't be around for several weeks at a time and I will need good admins to keep the community running smoothly when I'm not here. If your interested in helping build a decent gaming community, with level headed admins that run high performance 1000fps game servers where you can hit what your aiming at, then ask an FJ member about joining the clan. So consider this the grand opening of the new Fragjunkies gaming community. I will have a new web site up for fragjunkies sometime in the first week of February. {FJ}Justice AKA Squad-Leader :)

I hope that all of the people who have remained members of the Fragjunkies community for all this time are doing well. My life has been unbelievable since the last time I logged in. I've been thinking about playing some games just to decompress from what's occurred over the last several years. Although I'm not a licensed attorney at this point, I am my own attorney on 5 different civil cases and one criminal case. I'm going to be putting up a web site and will announce the URL here and on my FB page. Until then be good, stay healthy and I hope you hit the power-ball. I'll be around...

Trying to build a decent gaming community.

I been playing Half Life mods & running game servers since 1997 and the single biggest problem with playing on someone elses game server is the power tripping attitudes of the admins that run those servers. Lately I been playing on the Merrills Marauders servers in order to try to meet some decent new people to help me build the new fragjunkies gaming community. So I played there for three days pretty much everyday for at least 6 hours and made some new friends. Today I was playing there and out of nowhere got perma banned for no reason. This is exactly the type of thing that I'm taking about BAD ADMINNING.

Eventually if you play on a server long enough and you own some noob admin that should have never been given admin powers in the first place, your going to get banned just because that admin doesn't like you. NOT AT FRAGJUNKIES !!!. At fragjunkies we have a "BANNING PROCESS". Today when I got banned at Merrills, I just got kicked and then when I tried to reconnect it said I had been perma banned for Mic spamming. No warnings, No slaps, No slays, No nothing, just straight to a perma ban, for talking on my MIC for too long I guess. LOL.

I had my inbound voice turned down so the admin could not voice speak to me, and if the admin tried to type to me in chat I did not see it. Thats why you need to get the attention of the player by slapping them or kicking them first, and then when they come back to ask why, you can talk with them and let them know why they did what they did. That kind of stuff would never happen on the Fragjunkies servers, but merrill is an idiot and doesn't teach his admins how to admin and then gives admin powers to the wrong people.

So if your tired of playing on servers with lag and bad hitreg, then join us and see what it's like to play on servers that have been properly configured and run on top notch hardware. Thanks {FJ}justice
