This is quiet late but if you havent seen yet a patch was realeased on Dec 15 thats actually fixed SOME of the mutilpayer probelms. This patch really just fixed connectivity issues and some people have reported that it didnt help AT ALL and made things even WORSE.

I have only played one game of it with the new patch myself. It was 8 players and 24 city states on a standard sized map and ran smothly most of the way through. Most of my friends have told me they have had no or little probelms with desync or connectivity since the patch.

Also 2K hasnt really listed what was fixed as there arent really any offical patch notes, just them saying theres a new patch out and thats it -_- Well anyways I hope it works for you guys, some peoples mutiplayer AND single player have been completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by the patch.
