First, let me start with the best qualities of this game. It's decently realistic, has a large arsenal of weapons(which you wont be having anytime soon), diverse equipment and well made maps. That out of the way... the biggest issue of this game: its HOSTILE business model.

This game is a pay to progress kind of game. You can still experience almost all the content for free and hunt all ~51 available animals except for three if using the starting weapons. However, it will be more difficult without a better expensive gun/equipment, and if you'd rather progress without spending real cash, you'll progress at a PAINFUL CRAWLING pace. Personally, I'm somewhat ok with the slow progress. It's a company and they need to make money out of a F2P after all. What bothers me is that T O O M A N Y of the game’s missions require you to purchase expensive weapons or equipment, costing several days worth of income, just to complete a single mission. That mission only pays back a small fraction of what you spent on the required items. All of this just to unlock the next mission in the mission pack to fall again in the same problem, and unfortunately, this is VERY common. However, you can still ask someone from the game's community to play the mission on your behalf in COOP (yes, someone needs to play the game for you to progress if you don't pay, I wish I was joking...) Luckily, this game has a friendly community, but you still need to find someone willing to bother and sacrifice his time and effort for your own benefit.

Unless you are fine with the slow progress, you're better off buying COTW when on sale.

你不支持中文就是你最大的败笔。我不管你这游戏画面多好、玩法多真实、动物生态多完整，你连最基本的语言支持都做不全，凭什么让我花钱买你的游戏？商店页面翻了一圈，日语、韩语、俄语、法语、德语全都有，简体中文？没有。我寻思中国玩家是没给你掏钱还是怎么着？隔壁同类游戏人家荒野呼唤不光有中文，配音都给你整上了，你在这端着个架子给谁看呢？我不是看不懂英文，但我就问一句——凭什么？同样的钱，凭什么别人打开游戏就能玩，我还得一边翻词典一边猜哪个按键是哪个？而且你一个单机游戏，非要弄成联网才能玩，服务器还烂得跟土豆一样，动不动就掉线，掉线了连存档都存不了，合着我花钱买了个祖宗回来供着？游戏本身好不好我不知道，因为我根本没玩进去。你连让玩家舒舒服服打开游戏的权利都不给，后面内容再牛逼也是白搭。什么时候把中文补上了，我什么时候改好评。在此之前，差评就放这儿了，爱改不改。
