I remember back in 2018 when my alarm used to go off, and i'd jump out of bed, turn my PC on and load up Steam and Discord. I'll never forget those few tense minutes of checking to see if this had been the morning. Had my day of reckoning come at last?
It had not.
It was 07:00 and the boys were already in lobby waiting. No time for coffee this morning. We were trying to snipe games in India.
Accounts were stacked. Overwatch was working. Each day we were risking thousands for the W. One wallbang was enough to send you home packing. For good.
Kids these days would never comprehend what the scene was back then.
The adrenaline and endorphins of being in a 1v4 at 15-14. Knowing this game will be assessed by Overwatch investigators in a few hours.
You're already on 50 kills.
Your skins can't be traded off.
You make the call. You aren't losing this.
