Decompiler not opening.Plz help if you can.
Hey, I also have a problem with my decompiler.It says vstdlib.dll not installed.I have it, and when i opened it with the decompiler,it said the procedure entry point Q_AppendSlash could not be located in the dynamic link library vstdlib.dll.I need help.I have a brilliant idea but supid decompiler is not opening.Help!:balloonicorn::sentry::sticky::tlove:

Are you using the new fixed version? (not that much new, but still)

Did you try refreshing the source SDK content? Try that, then retry the decompiler.

Oh yeah,another problem, when i got SDK there was no sdk/bin/ep1/bin.Where is it?

Hm... The new steampipe system seems to have messed the Source SDK up really badly. Try putting the decompiler program in your
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\bin folder instead. This might work.

I dound the sdk/bin/ep1/bin. Its in the valve folder.
I checked the internet for the decompiler, they said to install GUIStudio.mdl
Its not able to configure stuff.
How to set it up and what is its use?
I am lost.
Help me Helljumper.

I really don't know what the issue is. Try studiocompiler: http://www.chaosincarnate.net/cannonfodder/cftools.php?program=studiocompiler

It has a decompiling tab. Check that website on how to use it.

I usually find that the best people to ask about this kind of problem are the people who have just recently overcome it. Like, a person who has made his first workshop submission with credit to helljumper. That's how I overcame the same problem you have.

You might get better results decompiling Source engine models with Crowbar than with MDL Decompiler.

If Crowbar does not work well for Dota 2 models, you can post in the Crowbar Discussions to let me know what happens, and I'll work on fixing it.
