In Depth on E-Frag's Recent Results

E-Frag had two consecutive BO3 match-ups against the internation stars; Team Kinguin. The first match was a close 2-1 however the next match was 2-0. Against a team like Kinguin, E-Frag should be going for at least one map in a BO3. The first match they managed this, however, in the second that fell short losing 2-0. E-Frag seemed discouraged by their earlier result and it seemed as though they went into this match-up feeling as if they would lose. E-Frag shouldn't be too discouraged by these results as Kinguin are a very good team. E-Frag also surprised in a BO3 versus Flipsid3, winning 2-0. This was a strong showing by E-Frag, proving they definately deserve a spot as a Tier 2 team. They were expected to beat Volgare in their BO3, and they did so convincingly; 2-0.

In Depth on Dignitas's Recent Results

Unfortunately Dignitas failed to qualify for ESL One Cologne and that lack of $ will hurt them. They impressed by defeating Hell Raisers 2-0, which is by no means an easy feat. They went into a BO5 match against Na'Vi as the underdogs; in my opinion they should've nabbed at least one map, maybe even two. However they were quickly disposed of 3-0. This was a dissapointing result and rip'd a lot of underdoge bets. Aftermatch and Volgare were easy 2-0's, as they should have been. However Dignitas were tested by the majority of the ex-Gamers2 in a BO5 which they grabbed 3-2. Dignitas were the favourites and this was a little to close for comfort. However after going 1-2 down they pulled it back to win 3-2, which is no easy feat either.

In Depth on E-Frag VS Dignitas Recent Results (Determined via HLTV)
The two most recent matches between these two were both BO3's. Dignitas lost 2-0 in the most recent BO3. Cache going to E-Frag 19-17 and Dust 2 going their way 16-9. However Dignitas won the other BO3 2-1. With scores of 16-11 6-16 and 22-18. On Mirage, Inferno and Cache respectively. Overall both these teams are as good as each other and either could win.

Conclusion TL:DR

So, who do you bet on? The high end tier 2 team that's been in a slump recently (Dignitas)? Or the team that's capable of tier 2 and has shown some good results in the past months (E-Frag)? I, personally, will skip this game. However, if you have to bet I recommend low on the underdog, however I will be rooting for Dignitas as I believe they can just nick this one.
