404: Group Not Found

*the admin team is taking way to long to make any kind of official decision or announcement so i am making this post with the information as i see it.

I have for a while been deliberating my position on continuing as part of the group. This is mainly due to some of the standards of play just not being at a level I enjoy.
I want to spend my time having fun while playing arma. Not having to try and heard cats who just want to have fun at other players expense.
Recent conversations and actions have made my decision final, to leave the 404GNF community, and go back to leading Beowulf.

August has decided he no longer wishes to continue the project.
I am unsure if Oatemeal will continue 404 on his own.

Oates, if you do go it alone i wish you luck and you know where to find me if you need help. I would also like to publically thank you for your efforts in running sessions with me over the last few months.

For those who wish to play arma, I invite you all to come and try out Beowulf when we start sessions again (in the next week or two). I will put invites out to those who express interest.
We are currently rebuilding the repos/frameworks to be in line to what i developed for 404. This will include a small program which will convert your 404 addons into the Beowulf addons pack without having to redownload the addons again.
I stress in Beowulf we are more focused on the gameplay and enjoying playing arma, instead of just pissing around in sessions and causing players grief. put simply If you can't stand still and listen to a briefing Beowulf might not be for you...
We aim to grow our skills and get better, instead of making the same mistakes over and over again... so if you don't like to learn basic tactics, simple radio procedures then again, Beowulf might not be for you...

I also thank all those who attended sessions regularly and actually wanted to play. Without you guys this project would never of worked in the first place. Although this is the end of 404 for me, I still feel like the last few months indeed had their highs and lows, but i'd do it again to get those same kicks and meet you guys again.

I am now off to give the GF several bandages and too many epi pens as she bleeds out on my kitchen floor from stubbing her toe… arma much?
