AI is taking our Gaming RAM and SSDs!
There's a Memory Crisis and it's not just short term memory lost from Trump and MAGA.

Crucial RAM kits and Solid State Drives (SSDs) will be ending for gamers, as all of that will be going towards AI Data Centers instead! The massive amount of demand of memory and storage for AI, has cut off the gaming market.

OpenAI also reportedly signed an agreement with Samsung and SK Hynix to buy up 900,000 wafers of DRAM per month.

Micron is also doing 100% memory to go towards AI as well, affecting Microsoft, Playstation and AMD.

Trump majorly added to this issue with uncapping the AI restrictions and adding his Trump Tariffs... to the point it's killing off the entire gaming industry for AI profiting instead.

Do you think it would be even possible in the future to build a PC or Game Console?

Will they be trying to push everything online streaming and cloud-based driven for future gaming?

Can we download more RAM?

Someone built functioning RAM in minecraft, so in theroy if you download the safe file you really downloaded RAM.

I was going to upgrade but not at these prices, I don't need any NVME drives as I've got a few with a few more spare. It's idiotic this is allowed to happen, this could cause companies to go under.

It's ironically requiring RAM and Disk Space to emulate that RAM, so it's similar to Window's Virtual Memory.

Prices are skyrocketing and then be limited in availablity.

However, there will also be an AI Bubble which can easily pop. Currently major American companies are all backing upon AI technology (restricted) but it can't support itself at this rate and will come crashing down alongside the US Economy. It's not really an if, but a when. It's overconsumed at the moment.

This is why you need restrictions: To limit the amount of power and resources drained. Silly Trump thrown that out the window might look great for American companies wanting to drive for it at first, but is a really short term greedy profit.

Ram prices now make it cheaper to buy prebuilt computers than build your own.

The companies are pretty smooth brained because they still need quantum pc's and qRAM not classical RAM or PC's, they don't have the proper capability. Many are thinking about hybrid setups using classical PC's alongside quantum but this is still not proper.

Not mine.

And it's not as if I'm collecting RAM. Got enough (32 DDR5) and I don't need more.

Let me know when that game comes out that needs 64 GB.

Not necessarily cheaper but easier to get the desired components in a pre-built rather than procuring after market. For example, I recently bought a laptop with 64GB DDR5 memory which I could not get (at the time) direct from the likes of Crucial, G Skill, or Kingston.

You just don't know yet how good I'm at hinting future predictions:

If we recovered from the cryptominers buying up all the Graphics Cards (I don't know did we? I assume we did), then we'll recover from this as well.

Whether it's a fad or production will eventually ramp up if the new demand is stable, things will level back out.
Probably going to be Amazon: Home Essentials RAM before long.

North+South america should increase the manufacturing capacity for microelectronics.

its time we turned up the world to 11.

Before much longer the suits and the guy with the jacket will be expecting you to stream games and keep paying a subscription. Everyone will be cloud gaming from a Chromebook.
