Publishers would just start pushing their own platforms if Valve did this.

i believe epic games has out-profited steam for the second year in a row, now? in net revenue, i believe.

so they have stepped their game up, just not the way that op wants. and we can't all get what we want, especially if you're liver king and want to get on joe rogan's podcast.

When Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries released. It was epic exclusive for a year. I bought it on epic because I had a massive case of mechwarrior blueballs at this point.

Waiting for more than a decade for a game can make you do weird things.

I wonder if Witcher 4 will be Epic Exclusive. That would be a good move. I like their lack of social media elements.

Last week finding out civ 6 was drm free made epic much more interesting. Dont want to beg permission from a launcher to install my games. Just my hdd to my computer and click play, no internet, no pwease activate the game i own online

Not a chance GOG exclusive maybe, but Epic. Don’t forget CDPR owns GOG.
