What room shape configurations do you want?
Here are the ones I am currently planning to add:
- (DONE) Vertical and Horizontal Corridor (one cell, expansion slots on either end)
- (DONE) Long Vertical and Horizontal Corridor (three cells long, expansion slots on either end
- (DONE) Corners and T-Junctions
- Dead Ends

If you want any other configurations please list them here and i will consider adding them to the mod.

Unrelated comments will be removed, please use the main thread for those. Also i can't guarantee all of these suggestions will be added but they will give me some direction for when I add new ones.

Please use the format:
- Shape Name (# cells wide, # cells high, which side expansion slots are to be on)

from build port perspective, a downward slope an upward slope and left/right wariants. for staircases. ofcourse if you view from the other sides perspective a downwards slope beacomes an upwards slope.
technicly you only need a left and right beacause of that. but you would have to construct it from a port that does not yet exsist. therfore you need to create 4 variants.

You can build a room in a round shape by using the large core, or were you thinking something different.

Tall enough to grow trees and double/triple the width for growing reasons.

Corner, junction and dead end pieces would be very useful. Especially dead ends, as the only vanilla dead ends are the mech bays.

2x2 corners
angled corridors (like the lunar blast door compared to other doors)
mech bay thing (which would admittedly be really hard to do)

Implementation of the T and L shaped rooms would be useful

@Golden_Labs You could use a mod that lets you buy mech crafting stations and place them down like other crafting stations, then put it in a custom room

Already said, but I'd agree that what we really need, is the 4 corners, 4 T junctions, and 4 single door rooms. I guess using your format...

- Build Area E (1 wide, 1 high, left slot)
- Build Area N (1 wide, 1 high, top slot)
- Build Area S (1 wide, 1 high, bottom slot)
- Build Area W (1 wide, 1 high, left slot
- Free Build Corner N-E (1 wide, 1 high, top and right slots)
- Free Build Corner N-W (1 wide, 1 high, top and left slots)
- Free Build Corner S-E (1 wide, 1 high, bottom and right slots)
- Free Build Corner S-W (1 wide, 1 high, bottom and left slots)
- Free Build T Junction N-S-E (1 wide, 1 high, top bottom and right slots)
- Free Build T Junction N-S-W (1 wide, 1 high, top bottom and left slots)
- Free Build T Junction N-W-E (1 wide, 1 high, top left and right slots)
- Free Build T Junction S-W-E (1 wide, 1 high, bottom left and right slots))

As far as free building areas go, those are the most important I see missing, anything else would be situational for what people want.

I'd be happy with a version of the existing vanilla parts but with their background tiles removed. They have some neat layouts underneath those titanium tiles. Lots pipes, beams and windows. Its a pain to have to go and remove all the background tiles on a couple of large cores.

@Erebus Try using a worldedit mod, or spawning in a super fish axe. Those both work really well
