you mean like they're slow to start the fight ? that's just how it is they feel each other out before deciding their move

that's my biggest beef with enlisting tho, boring ashet plus the wait time before your next fight

Well, something was bugged that time, because all they did was stand and watch, for like every battle all time. I started the game anew and it didn't happen yet

similar thing happened to me in gekokujo i joined as melee infantry and our two sides just watched eachother as our archers skirmished , rather interesting to watch especialy when a guy next to you just falls over

You can change the settings in the camp menu so that the enemy is always rushing and attacking you, have you tried that?

lol did you mess with the AI options in the camp menu ? i recommend just leaving it on default full realism

with minor tweaks like gore, disable scenic menu, no whitewalkers

Actually, the archers AI is too much retarded. At the beginning of a battle, archers are good at shooting and staying back but in mid or late time of the battle; they're just standing still and watching the infantry and spearmen to fight each other. They dont shoot a single arrow, they just draw the bow and break it without shooting. If their infantry and spearmen lost their fight, they just walk backwards without shooting a single arrow until the enemy infantry catch and easily slaughter them.
