Okay well now that lord hates me so he doesnt want anything to do with me so I guess ill join someones army, sit afk for 5 hours, get to the final rank, of soldier, and yep of course still get one shot by anything that breaths. Or for that matter, doesnt even have to breath to fuck you over, character trips when out of stamina, which is always because you have -3 agility and have the lung capacity of a 90 year old smoker living in a nursing home with no legs.

All in all, great mod recommend for anyone who hates life, thinks sitting afk while in another AI lords army is fun, and loves spending countless hours grinding for the privilege of having a morsel of fun.

Okay...well maybe if I do some quest and get my renown up I can start getting at least some troops for cheap when I do that! Okay...lets go back to a city and go to the guild! Go escort cattle to some random city across the entire map? Try dying as soon as you get out the town by 2 poachers that take your life savings of 20 stags and the cattle. Whats this? Oh! You owe the guild 1000 stags for losing the cattle, and they wont help you get quest until you pay them back. Also it collects interest! As if life didnt suck enough! Go do a quest to kill a random guy at a random village! Kills YOU by 78 damage up attack after you hit him for 78 damage! Yes thats right! Seventy eight damage! From a guy in a cloth tunic while you have scale mail on! MAKES SENSE HAHAHA!

This mod is way to hard. Like artificially hard. I have iron flesh 5 over 60 armor on all body parts damage reduced by 1/2 and still get one shot by a solider that does 63 damage in one swing.

Skill issue I suppose. Well I would run away if I didnt have a permanent -4 agility from scars. Wait you might be thinking, just go to the towns and get a healer to heal them before they turn from wounds to scars! Uh oh tho! They dont spawn! Well thats fine ill go get other soldiers to fight in my army like classic warband! Ill check a town for some people...okay all I get is 2 slaves offering to join for 1126 stags up front charge and a band of 7 knights for 60000 stags...well I guess they are renowned soldiers so that makes sense...okay ill go to a village and get peasants and train them up! Okay dont have enough renown so I got to bribe the elder 100 stags to let me take 1-3 volunteers that are worse than slaves somehow.

I've understood that in earlier versions it was possible to be a vassal for Robb and with high enough relations you can ask about marrying Sansa. Is this possible still?

It wasn't there for many years though. I think I saw the WSE2 thing from a random comment on reddit.

Neither is WSE2 still recommended in the description.

If the mod needs it, why do I need to spend bandwidth to download the game to find out?

It is strongly recommended to play AWOIAF with WSE2. When you literally play AWOIAF the first main menu screen recommends using WSE2 when playing.

Why is WSE2 not recommended on the mod page if it fixes the crashes?

Are you using WSE? Have cheated or used edit mode in your game at all?

If you are not using WSE2, it will crash frequently. If you have used cheats or edit mode during your game, you are very likely going to have issues with crashes and also saves are much, much more likely to become corrupted.

Won't stop crashing B of B battle now won't even load despite reverting to saves.

why am i having so many treasons from random lords all over the map just after starting a new game? is it a bug? i haven't had it in any other mods

Why are the Frey ranged troops archers? I don't know about the books, but in the TV Show they used crossbows, and since the only faction with crossbows in Westeros are the Westerlands I think adding the special troop of the Freys with crossbows would be a nice idea, instead of archers.

You make some very good points. I agree, especially in regards to the detrimental nerfing of tournaments making the early game even more grindy and less fun while ironically making alternative gameplay paths less viable and subsequently decreasing replay value all the while further alienating the non-hardcore fan base of the mod. I think nerfing tournaments was a poor game design decision and others have echoed this repeatedly.

This might be my favorite mod from any game of all time. I’ve put 400+ hours in it alone. I’m super appreciative of the ongoing support & updates. With that being said, I do agree with some of the comments about trading & tournaments. The nerfs to this part of the game make the early game take significantly longer to get off the ground. Additionally, I’ve played into the late game where I’ve done all the other ways to earn income; I still would find utility to divert my path for a tournament or pick up some furs.

I really appreciate the challenge of the mod & has made it impossible to go back to vanilla or any other mod. Personally, I find these changes don’t add to the rewarding feeling of overcoming the steep challenge & mainly slows the pace down while making aspects of the game considerably less worth engaging in the farther you get. I’ll always recommend & support the mod, just wanted to give some thoughts on some of the new changes.

The Game Is NOT Playable in the Old Vanilla Version. it crashs in dozens of different Situations. But as Fallen Lord wrote, when WSE2 is installed it works with just a few minor script bugs and a problem in one of the Volantis Towns (I dodnt remember the name) with the correct calculation of the economy values. I played a game now with over 1200 Days with nearly zero crashs.

Strongly recommend using WSE2. It takes away most of the crashes in mod and makes mod a lot more optimized.

Alright, I've tried this mod for a good ten hours now. It's crashed at least a dozen times, and when it works, it's difficult to the point of being a slog of either resets or being a prisoner/cripple. It's not fun. Went in with high hopes but I can't recommend playing this.

Nice work. But seriously man why do you make the "charge" order so punishing? 5 seconds of forced idle animation. It makes commanding troops impossible without death

reducing the money gained from trading and the money from winning tournaments was one of the worst ideas ever and crossed the line in an already slow and grindey mod,the most difficult thing is getting your economy going and you went ahead and made it even worse and more boring.

pathfinding for troops in " the wall" is very bad
