What are curses?
There is an advisor who protects against curses. What exactly are they and what do they do?

I suppose it is a reference to the EU-series, altough I do not believe they would acually make use of the "curse" system in this game- it would require a lot of random events, and would, frankly, not fit in this scenario.

About the actual subject, the Curses dude does give you a unique event chain.

The Curses seem to only really give a negitive bonus

While logical..they only occur with that dude active.. & when he's not active no events occur so he fails at doing his job =o!
