Yes, I've brought up the idea with the group before of the possibility of one day doing something similar if we were able to assemble a big enough team. Have a standalone game that runs off TF2 like TF2C does, and include 10 classes all baked into the game. If it went that far, it'd be cool to maybe even tweak some of the other classes.
For now though, our main goal is just to get some people who can make the class work as a server plugin with !commands. Baby steps.
