Unfortunately we have a nursing home escapee in the highest seat in the land who screwed our economy so hard that my business was ruined and I went homeless and was stuck sleeping in someone's garage for about a year which really put a damper on all of that. That was super cool.
Someone finally came to me asking about adding this guy in a mod, so maybe we'll see about that short happening at some point.
We're a small team at the moment and are doing what we can. Our first priority right now is assets, and most importantly finding a scripter who can make him a working mod.
I'll focus more on graphics later, as I found that updating the model actually breaks sessions that use it and don't want to make any subscribers regret subscribing lol.
We've got the DPS, the tank, the healer, but we don't have a buff debuff class. It is the one specialization TF2 doesn't have. There are a few items between each class that give little buffs, but not a full fledged class.
The guard dog, while a cool concept, stepped on Engineer's toes a little bit. If Valve were to add a new class (which won't ever happen) then it would have to be a buff debuff class. I hope this mod pulls through, because I would have a blast playing as this guy.
but its a pain in the ass since there's a lot of particle files
I'm working on a misc props and assets pack for the Chemist, and one of the things in this pack is going to be a set of chemical icons that are meant to appear over the Chemist's head depending on what chemical he is holding. Using the vaccinator buff icons as a base would make this an easy addition.
In the meantime, I'm going to be working on other little things for the pack.
His main loadout is chemicals. 3 chemical slots that have no limit. You can put whatever chemical you want in whatever slot. The only limit is you can't have 2 of the same chemical equipped. The chemicals would have different effects like traps, buffs, and debuffs. His melee would be a lab spatula like what chemists use to separate powders. His primary gun would be the nail gun, which just seemed fitting since the Chemist is to Medic what Soldier is to Demo and the nail gun is pretty much the same as the syringe gun.
