blueprint pods make a 3d printer and attache or build mannually and attahce if in survival if not just blueprint then paste

I blueprinted the pods( turn off the merge blocks on the ship side so they are still on in the blueprints) then mounted projectors individually above the drop pod locations in the ship, still haven't found a good spot to mount a welder to have them automatically reprint after deployment without poking holes through the hull but I also stopped looking for welder placement to work on other things like fixing the piping and adding some things into my world I want to be POIs when i get my friends in to run through a scenario with me.
