For what I have seen, Faryth only spawn in Lush biomes.

The Faryth should have a chance to spawn in any regular Forest or Lush biome, no special sub-biomes needed. It's possible that FU is making their spawns a lot rarer, but it shouldn't prevent their spawns completely.

Apparently they are marked similar to sub biome creatures, while they do not require a sub biome, a sub biomes creatures can overide them making them rather rare.

Hmm. Thanks for the various responses. I realised that I could buy the Faryth Scales from Drifter's Emporium. But I'll still have to hang around Lush/Forest planets so I can unlock more weapon attachments...

While I imagine that fixing the various issues with FU is the ideal, could it be helpful to have repeatable missions (accessed from SAIL) for the various quests which involve killing or looting creatures from Elithian Races?

Good suggestion! While it may be a while before they get added (missions are a ton of work to add), I have a couple of missions planned which will be replayable from the SAIL interface. I'll make sure to add the various Elithian monsters to those missions, and maybe add some smaller missions including the monsters too.

i know this is four years old but how do you get faryth scales now? you cant buy them anymore at drifters emporium

I've been unable to find Faryths spawning anywhere myself. I've resorted to admin commands to spawn them and then killing them to get their scales as well as progress for the "kill 20 faryths" quest >.<

get admin privileges (type /admin) then type /spawnmonster faryth
