You can find it in Akkimari encounters on level 4 planets (so Jungle and Mutated planets). Hardened Scarp Metal can be found in containers in these random encounters, and can also drop from defeated Akkimari drones.

If you're not familiar with the Akkimari, you can easily recognize them by the weapons they use. Both the Akkimari and their drones fire green-glowing projectiles at you that often track and wobble in the air. Their drones have a large central eye with two antennae on the sides: you'll know them when you see them.

Not exactly related to the topic (more of a question for the Official SpawnID List Discussion), but the ID for that weapon is notix-snowpiercer.

What I wonder is what's the ID for hardened scrap metal? (I'm just messing around with all my mods so it isn't a legit playthrough)
