I'd recommend visiting an Avikan camp and removing all of the object-based tent parts from any of the tents there: that way you can see what the background blocks in the tents look like. Aligning the tent parts isn't hard as most of them can only really be connected in one way, but the trickier part is probably to get the background right. Take your time to really look at how the tents are built up: the tent pole blocks are always placed at the intersections between tent part objects, and the tent poles always act as the background blocks for tent doors.
